Chiang Mai Thailand
Our first day in Chiang Mai...dreary from our travels from Dubai, yet excited to explore the new sites, sounds and smells of our home for the next several days. Every Sunday evening several streets are closed to vehicles and a bustling street market is set up, the Sunday walking market. We jumped right in! The sites were colorful and fun, bartering galore. The street food was delicious, varied and fresh. Music filled our ears from street players and singers. The banter was exciting, and spending our Baht was easy. We felt at ease and at home milling through the street vendors discovering local flare and food along the way. I ate the most tasty tender mango of my life!
