After visiting the famous Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple, we went to the Hmong Tribal Village of Doi Pui. Do Pui is 1,685 metres above sea level, it was enshrouded in mist and was relatively cool compared to Chiang Mai. The forest was beautiful with a mix of deciduous trees and bursts of colorful blossoms dotting the village slope. There was a coffee shop nestled in the trees at the top end of the village where I drank the most delicious cup of tea. After walking through the forest of blossoms we descended through the village market, a market bursting without it's own colorful textiles and assorted local items. This market was the most fun for shopping, items were local and more authentic.
